Sant Agustí is a residential area on the western side of Palma, on the island of Mallorca. It lies along the coast where the city begins to give way to the smaller bays and headlands of the southwest. On a map, the district rises from the shoreline road in a series of winding streets that follow the slope instead of forming a grid.
Its position explains its character. Close enough to Palma to belong to it, yet facing the open water of the Bay of Palma, the area mixes apartment blocks, villas and gardens on the hillside.
