Sarigerme is a coastal village in Muğla province in south-western Turkey, near Dalaman and its airport. It is known for a long sandy beach backed by pine forest, with a small island, Baba Adası, lying just offshore. The beach is also a nesting site for loggerhead sea turtles, and parts of the shore are protected for that reason.
On a map the coastline dominates. The beach runs as a long, smooth curve, the island sits alone in the water in front of it and the pine forest forms a wide band behind the sand.
