Te mapa
Seagoville sits at the southeast edge of Dallas County, where the metropolitan area loosens into prairie and bottomland. On the map it looks like a small town with its own centre, not a seamless suburb. There is a modest core of older streets, and newer neighbourhoods spread out along the main roads towards the fields.
US Highway 175 passes through the area and links Seagoville to Dallas. Local roads form a loose Texas grid, broken up by creeks and larger parcels of undeveloped land. To the west, the Trinity River bottomlands bring in wide, low ground that stays largely open. The town is also home to a federal correctional institution, whose large grounds show up as a distinct block on the map.
A Seagoville map poster captures a place that is part of the metro and still apart from it. Straight roads and cul-de-sacs sit beside open fields and winding creeks. The result is a map with room to breathe, anchored by a few strong lines. It is a quiet, grounded portrait of a small Texas town at the edge of a big city.
The highway runs through the area towards Dallas as a strong diagonal line. On the poster it gives the composition a clear sense of direction.
Local streets follow a broadly rectangular pattern, interrupted by creeks, large lots and newer subdivisions with curving lanes and cul-de-sacs.
West of town, the low ground along the Trinity River stays mostly open. It adds a wide, calm margin to the edge of the map.
