Te mapa
Senhora da Hora occupies part of the continuous urban area north of Porto, within the municipality of Matosinhos. There is no clear break between it and its neighbours. On a map the streets simply continue, mixing older lanes with the long blocks of later apartment buildings. The Atlantic coast lies a short distance to the west, close enough that the district feels part of the coastal belt of greater Porto.
The defining feature from above is the metro. Senhora da Hora station is a junction of the Porto Metro, where the line to Matosinhos and the coast splits from the lines heading north, and the tracks cut long diagonals through the residential streets. Around them, roundabouts, shopping centres and main avenues give the district a distinctly modern, connected plan.
A Senhora da Hora map poster suits a place defined by everyday routes: the walk to the station, the road to the beach, the way into Porto. Printed in black and white, the tangle of older streets and newer main roads turns into a fine, even texture, with the metro lines drawing the eye across the sheet.
The metro lines converge at Senhora da Hora station and then separate, one toward Matosinhos and the sea, others north toward Póvoa de Varzim and Maia. Their tracks are the clearest lines on the map.
No green belt separates the district from Matosinhos or Porto. The streets run edge to edge across the poster, giving it the dense, even texture of a metropolitan neighbourhood.
Depending on the framing, the Atlantic shoreline can enter the western edge of the map. Its smooth line contrasts with the intricate street pattern further inland.

Koteā ko Senhora da Hora
Many people know Senhora da Hora as the place where they first rented a flat, went to school or changed trains every morning. A map of the district records those ordinary routes, which often matter more than any postcard view of Porto.
Add a title, subtitle or coordinates line of your own, perhaps a street name and a year, and choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Printed versions ship from partners in more than 30 countries, and the $9 digital files come without a watermark.
