Te mapa
Sharm el-Sheikh occupies the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula, where the Gulf of Aqaba opens into the Red Sea. From above it is less a single town than a chain of settlements strung along the coast: Old Sharm around its harbour, Naama Bay further north, and resort districts continuing toward the airport and beyond. A long coastal road links them like a spine.
The shoreline is the defining feature, a sequence of shallow bays and headlands edged by coral reefs just offshore. Inland, the streets give way quickly to open desert and the granite mountains of South Sinai. Ras Mohammed National Park lies to the southwest and the Strait of Tiran to the northeast, both known to divers around the world.
The city has also hosted major international meetings, including the COP27 climate conference in 2022. A Sharm el-Sheikh map poster sets aside the hotel names and shows the underlying structure: curving access roads, the rim of each bay and the sharp line where built land ends and the desert begins. It is a surprisingly graphic subject for a place usually seen in colour.

The older market district sits above a sheltered bay in the south, with a small port and the curve of Sharm el-Maya beach below it.
A long main road runs parallel to the sea, with short branches reaching each resort and bay, giving the whole map its linear, ribbon-like form.

Koteā ko Sharm el-Sheikh
Many people hang this map after a diving trip, a honeymoon or a family holiday by the Red Sea. The monochrome drawing turns a sun-bleached place into something calm and architectural, and it suits a hallway or bedroom as easily as a travel wall.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, perhaps with the dates of your stay, and choose one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Files cost $9 for six print sizes, or order a matte printed poster delivered from a partner near you.
