Te mapa
Sirinhaém lies on the southern coast of Pernambuco, in the old sugar zone south of Recife. The historic town sits on the river of the same name a short distance inland, and from above its small grid of streets is surrounded by the rolling green patterns of sugarcane fields. Toward the coast, the river widens into an estuary lined with mangroves before reaching the Atlantic.
Sirinhaém is one of the older settlements of the Pernambuco coast, and its colonial past is reflected in its churches and in the long history of sugar production across the municipality. Off its shore lies the Ilha de Santo Aleixo, a small island with beaches and clear water. A Sirinhaém map poster brings together the river town, the estuary and the coastline in one frame.
The map has a strong natural structure: a winding river, the irregular edges of mangroves, and a coastline of beaches and reefs. The town streets and rural roads are fine lines within this larger landscape. In black and white, the estuary and the curving river give the composition movement and depth.
The river winds past the historic town and through the countryside, widening into an estuary as it nears the sea.
Near the coast, channels and mangroves create an intricate edge where land and water meet on the poster.
The small island off the coast adds a distinct shape in the open sea, balancing the coastline on the map.

Sirinhaém appeals to people who grew up along the river, and to those who spent summers on its beaches or visited Santo Aleixo. A map of the place captures both the town and the coast.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, and choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. HD files cost $9 with six print sizes, and printed posters can be framed.
