Te mapa
Spring Hill lies south of Nashville in Middle Tennessee, spread across the line between Maury and Williamson counties. It has grown quickly over recent decades, and the map shows it clearly: curving subdivision streets and cul-de-sacs fill the land between older country roads, with the historic route of US 31 running through town and Interstate 65 to the east.
The town is widely known for its large automotive plant, opened for the Saturn brand and later run by General Motors, whose huge footprint is one of the largest shapes on the map. Spring Hill also gave its name to a Civil War engagement in November 1864, fought just before the Battle of Franklin, and preserved sites from that period remain in the area.
A Spring Hill map poster brings together the looping patterns of new neighbourhoods, the long straight lines of the highways and the broad industrial site. In black and white, it becomes a clean, modern portrait of a Tennessee town that grew up around both history and industry.
Winding residential streets and cul-de-sacs fill large parts of town, creating the repeating curved patterns that define Spring Hill from above.
The automotive plant's vast site forms a large geometric block on the map, with access roads and parking areas around it.
The historic main road runs through the centre, while the interstate passes to the east, two long lines that frame the town's growth.

Koteā ko Spring Hill
Many Spring Hill families are recent arrivals who chose the town for its schools and space. A map of their first Tennessee home, perhaps with the street circled in memory, makes a lasting housewarming gift.
