Te mapa
Talā lies in Monufia Governorate, in the heart of the Nile Delta between the Damietta and Rosetta branches of the river. The land here is almost perfectly flat and intensively farmed. From above, the town appears as a dense cluster of buildings surrounded by a patchwork of small rectangular fields and the thin, straight lines of irrigation canals.
Like many delta towns, Talā is the centre of a district of the same name and a market for the villages around it. It has grown outward along roads and canals. The result is an irregular core of short lanes, with a looser edge where newer streets meet cultivated land.
A Talā map poster turns this farming landscape into a fine, detailed pattern. Canals run in long parallel lines, villages appear as small dark islands among the fields, and the town sits in the middle as a denser knot of streets. It is an understated composition that shows how closely the settlement is tied to its land.
Irrigation canals cross the surrounding farmland in straight and gently curving lines, forming a lattice that frames the town on every side.
The historic centre is a tight mesh of short, irregular lanes, typical of delta towns that grew naturally long before modern planning.
Small rectangular plots fill the space between roads and canals. They give the map an even texture that sets off the built-up areas clearly.
