Taloda is a town in Nandurbar district, in the far northwest of Maharashtra. It lies on the plain between the Satpura range, which rises to the north, and the Tapi river valley to the south. From above, the town forms a compact centre with roads leading out across farmland toward neighbouring towns and villages.
The surrounding district has a large Adivasi population, and Taloda serves as a market and administrative centre for the area, including communities in the hills. Agriculture dominates the landscape, and field boundaries and farm tracks appear across the map around the town.
