Te mapa
Tianliu lies on the North China Plain in northern Shandong, not far from the lower reaches of the Yellow River. The land here is very flat, and that shapes the map. Roads run long and straight, the town's blocks are laid out at regular angles, and there are few natural obstacles to bend the pattern.
Around the built-up area, the landscape is agricultural, divided into fields and crossed by drainage channels and rural roads. Villages appear as small clusters within that grid. The town itself is a denser concentration of streets, with larger blocks in the newer parts and narrower lanes in the older areas.
A Tianliu map poster is an exercise in quiet geometry. There are no mountains or coastlines to add drama. Instead the map relies on the clean lines of a plains town and the patchwork of fields and waterways around it. In Blueprint or Classic black & white, that order becomes the design, and the result is calm and precise.
On flat ground, main roads run long and uninterrupted, creating strong horizontal and vertical lines that define the structure of the map.
The built-up area shows a regular grid of blocks, larger in newer districts and tighter in older ones, forming a dense centre within the open plain.
Farmland surrounds the town, crossed by drainage channels and rural tracks, a pattern typical of the lower Yellow River plain that adds fine texture to the poster.

Koteā ko Tianliu
For people from Tianliu working in bigger cities, a map of the home town is a simple, personal thing to hang. The clean layout of a plains town also works well as a graphic piece.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can be personalised, including in Chinese characters, and there are five styles to choose from: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. HD files cost $9, and printed posters are also available.
