Te mapa
Toms River is the seat of Ocean County on the New Jersey coast, and its map is shaped by water. The Toms River itself flows east through the township and widens into a broad estuary before meeting Barnegat Bay. Across the bay, the township also takes in a slice of the barrier island, so the map runs from pine woods to open ocean.
Most of the township is suburban, with curving streets, cul-de-sacs and lagoon neighbourhoods where man-made canals give many homes direct access to the water. The Garden State Parkway runs north to south through it. Toms River is also remembered for its Little League team, which won the World Series in 1998.
A Toms River map poster captures that journey from land to sea. The downtown sits near the head of the estuary, residential streets spread across the mainland, finger-like lagoons cut into the bay shore, and the thin barrier island with the Atlantic beyond forms a strong edge on the right of the drawing.
The Toms River widens steadily as it flows east into Barnegat Bay, a broad tapering shape that runs through the middle of the composition.
Along the bay shore, dredged canals create comb-like rows of streets and waterways, a distinctive pattern that stands out sharply in black and white.
A thin strip of land separates the bay from the Atlantic, giving the map a clean double coastline along its eastern edge.

Koteā ko Toms River
For families with summer houses, lifelong residents and people who rebuilt after Hurricane Sandy, the shape of the bay shore carries real weight. A map of it is a lasting reminder of home, of summers, or of where the water starts.
Name it after your street, lagoon or family, add a date in the subtitle, and set the coordinates. Choose from five styles, including Blueprint and Sand, and download HD files for $9 or order a matte print with an optional frame.
