Te mapa
Třebíč lies in the Vysočina region of Moravia, stretched along the Jihlava River as it winds through a fairly deep valley. From above, the river is the organising line of the whole town: the main square and historic centre sit on the south bank, while the former Jewish Quarter and the basilica with its castle complex rise on the other side of the water.
The Jewish Quarter and the Basilica of St. Procopius were added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2003. On the map, the quarter appears as a tight tangle of narrow lanes squeezed between the river and a steep slope, very different from the broad blocks and later housing estates that spread across the surrounding hills.
A Třebíč map poster rewards careful framing. The river's bends, the dense old lanes, the large square and the ring of newer districts above together make a layered image, in which the town's long history and its later growth can both be read without a single label on the paper.
The river winds through town in a series of curves, separating the historic square from the Jewish Quarter and the basilica across the water.
One of the best preserved in Europe, the quarter's narrow lanes and closely packed houses form a dense, irregular pattern along the riverbank.
Karlovo náměstí is one of the largest town squares in the Czech Republic, a broad open shape at the centre of the old street network.

Koteā ko Třebíč
Visitors come for the UNESCO sites, while people from Třebíč know it simply as home. Both tend to want something more personal than a postcard, and a clean map of the river town fits that well.
Set the title, subtitle and coordinates line yourself, perhaps with a date or a street, and choose from five styles. Noir and Classic black & white bring out the river curves, and downloads come as 300 DPI PNGs and PDFs.
