Te mapa
Vsevolozhsk lies just beyond the eastern edge of St Petersburg in Leningrad Oblast, and its map reflects a long history as a dacha settlement. Streets run in a loose grid broken by patches of pine forest, ponds and former estate grounds, so the plan feels open and varied. Newer apartment districts add denser blocks, especially near the railway and the main roads.
The town takes its name from the Vsevolozhsky family, whose estate once stood here, and traces of old parkland and ponds along the small Lubya river survive in the plan. The railway toward Lake Ladoga runs through Vsevolozhsk and forms its spine, with stations along its length marking separate neighbourhoods that grew up around each stop.
During the Siege of Leningrad, the Road of Life passed through Vsevolozhsk on its way to the lake, where supplies crossed the ice to the besieged city, and memorials line the route today. A Vsevolozhsk map poster shows the town between forest and city, its railway spine, green gaps and quiet streets, as a single clear composition.
The line toward Lake Ladoga crosses the town from end to end, with a string of stations along it, giving the map a strong axis around which the streets gather.
Pine woods, old estate parks and ponds leave generous gaps between neighbourhoods, a pattern that reads as open space on the poster and softens the whole plan.
The historic wartime route runs through town on its way to Lake Ladoga, a single long road that connects Vsevolozhsk to both the city and the shore.

Koteā ko Vsevolozhsk
Many people know Vsevolozhsk as a family dacha or a quieter home just outside the city. A map of it is a reminder of summers, of a daily commute on the train, or of a first flat among the pines.
