Te mapa
West Vancouver runs along the north shore of Burrard Inlet and Howe Sound, a narrow strip of land set against the Coast Mountains. The map is a series of horizontal bands: the shoreline and Marine Drive at the bottom, residential streets climbing above them, and the highway cutting across the upper slope before the forest takes over.
At its eastern end, the Lions Gate Bridge crosses First Narrows toward Stanley Park, and Ambleside's waterfront grid sits close by. Moving west, the coast becomes rockier and more indented, passing Lighthouse Park's forested point before reaching Horseshoe Bay, where ferries leave for Vancouver Island and the Sunshine Coast.
Above everything, Cypress Mountain and the North Shore peaks leave the top of the map mostly empty. A West Vancouver map poster captures a place shaped by sea and slope, with curving roads following the contours and a coastline that shifts from sandy beaches to granite headlands.

Marine Drive follows the waterline for much of the city, a single curving road that traces every cove and point along the coast.
At the western end, a small, sheltered bay holds the ferry terminal, where the coastline turns north into Howe Sound.
