Te mapa
Woodlands is a planning area at the northern tip of Singapore, facing Johor Bahru across the narrow Johor Strait. From above, the shoreline forms its upper boundary, and the Causeway leaves it as a short straight line toward Malaysia. Inland, housing estates are arranged along curving roads that loop around clusters of residential blocks.
The Causeway, opened in the 1920s, carries road traffic and once carried the railway between Singapore and Johor, and the Woodlands Checkpoint beside it is one of the busiest land crossings in the region. Along the coast, Woodlands Waterfront Park has a long jetty reaching into the strait, and Admiralty Park adds green space further east.
A Woodlands map poster captures a planned town with a clear logic. Estate roads form loops and cul-de-sacs, major expressways cut across in firm lines, and the water of the strait gives the top of the map an open, calm border. It is a very different kind of urban pattern from the older districts in the south of the island.

Woodlands Waterfront Park runs along the coast, and its jetty extends into the strait, giving the northern shoreline a small, distinctive projection.
Residential neighbourhoods are laid out along curving roads around groups of blocks, producing rounded, repeating shapes typical of Singapore's planned towns.

Koteā ko Woodlands
For residents, Woodlands is often simply home: the estate, the MRT station, the walk to the water. A map of the neighbourhood makes a personal poster rather than a generic Singapore skyline.
You can change the title and subtitle and set the coordinates to a specific block. Choose Classic black & white or Noir for contrast, or Blueprint to bring out the strait and the Causeway.
