Te mapa
Xuchang lies in central Henan, on the broad, level North China Plain. On a map there are no mountains or coastlines to shape it. What you see is the pattern people have laid down: straight streets, long blocks, and main roads running close to north–south and east–west. Around the built-up area, rural roads and field boundaries fill the paper with a finer pattern.
The main north–south rail corridor through Henan passes the city, and its straight tracks cut through the grid of streets. Newer districts spread out from the older centre in wider blocks, with broad avenues and planned green strips between them. Small waterways and ponds break the grid here and there. At poster scale, their soft curves are a welcome contrast to all those right angles.
Xuchang has a long place in Chinese history. At the end of the Eastern Han dynasty, the warlord Cao Cao brought Emperor Xian to Xu, which served for years as the seat of the imperial court. Today the city is known worldwide for making wigs and hair products. A Xuchang map poster captures the modern street plan of a place with deep roots.
With no hills to work around, the streets run in straight, regular lines. The result is a calm, even texture that fills the poster edge to edge.
Railway lines cross the city in long, straight strokes. They show clearly against the street grid and mark Xuchang's place on one of central China's main transport routes.
Small rivers, ponds and planned green spaces add curved, open shapes among the blocks and give the dense plan room to breathe.

Koteā ko Xuchang
A Xuchang poster is for people who grew up there, work in its industries, or trace family back to Henan. The orderly grid suits modern interiors and looks especially crisp in Blueprint or Classic black & white.
Personalise the title, add a subtitle with a name or a date, and keep the coordinates line or rewrite it. Pick from five styles, then download the HD files for $9 or order a printed poster with an optional wooden frame.
