Yenişehir lies on a broad, flat plain in the eastern part of Bursa Province, ringed by low hills. From above, the town forms a tight core of streets surrounded by a patchwork of field boundaries, irrigation lines and farm roads, so the built area stands out clearly against the open land around it.
