Te mapa
Zhuangyuan lies in eastern Shandong, on the Jiaodong Peninsula, where the land is hilly rather than flat like the plains further west. From above, the town sits in lower ground, with its streets following the valley floor and the main roads that pass through. The slopes around it are divided into terraces and farm plots.
Because the terrain is uneven, the street pattern bends with the land instead of forming a strict grid. Newer districts with wider roads and larger blocks have grown along the flatter ground, while villages sit in the folds of the surrounding hills. This part of the peninsula is known for its orchards and farming.
A Zhuangyuan map poster shows a town shaped by its hills. A dense centre follows the valley, main roads lead away through gaps in the terrain, and the surrounding slopes read as open space. The result has more movement than a plains town, which makes it a quietly interesting print for anyone with ties to eastern Shandong.
The densest streets follow the lower ground, so the town's core takes a long, fitted shape set by the valley rather than a grid.
Primary roads run through gaps in the hills, linking the town to the rest of the peninsula and giving the map its main direction.
The hills around the town are covered in fields and orchards, with small villages tucked into the folds, forming the outer texture of the map.
