Te mapa
Zuwarah lies on the Mediterranean coast of western Libya, not far from the Tunisian border. From above, the defining line is the shore itself, a long and fairly even edge where the town meets open water. Streets run inland from the coast in a mostly regular pattern, and the built area thins out gradually into flat, sandy land beyond.
The town is known as a centre of Libya's Amazigh community, and the Amazigh language is widely spoken here. Its economy has long been tied to the sea, with fishing and a small harbour along the coast. The surrounding landscape is low and open, so the map carries little in the way of hills or rivers, leaving the street network and the shoreline to do the work.
A Zuwarah map poster captures that simplicity: a coastline drawn as a single clean line, a grid of streets set against it, and the gradual fade of the town into the plain. It is a spare composition, which suits the minimalist style well and leaves room for a personal title.
The coast forms the northern edge of the map, a long and gently curving line that gives the whole composition its horizon.
Streets extend inland from the shore in a largely orderly arrangement, creating a clear rhythm of blocks that reads well in black and white.
Beyond the built area the land is flat and sparsely marked, so the town appears as a distinct shape set between sea and plain.
