关于地图
Apsheronsk Map Poster & Print
Apsheronsk lies in the south of Krasnodar Krai, where the Kuban plains give way to the forested northern foothills of the Caucasus. The town follows the valley of the Pshekha river, stretching along its banks in a long, irregular shape. From above, streets fill the flatter ground by the water, then stop where wooded slopes rise on either side.
The river and its tributaries give the map its strongest curves, with bridges linking the neighbourhoods on either bank. Beyond the edge of town, the land is almost entirely forest, cut by valleys and ridges. An Apsheronsk map poster shows a compact settlement enclosed by this landscape, its grid of streets contrasting with the organic lines of the hills and waterways around it.
The town grew as a centre of the timber industry and is known for its narrow-gauge railway, originally built to carry logs out of the mountains. Part of the line is now used for tourist trips into the Guamka Gorge, one of the most scenic routes in the region. The town's name recalls the Absheron Regiment of the Russian imperial army.

Narrow-gauge line
The historic logging railway leaves town and threads into the mountains, a thin winding line that follows the valleys toward the Guamka Gorge.
Forested foothills
Wooded slopes surround the town on most sides, leaving large empty spaces on the map that frame the streets and emphasise the valley setting.

为什么选Apsheronsk
一张有意义的地图
Apsheronsk is a place of rivers, forests and mountain trips, and a map of it speaks to anyone who grew up here or has ridden the narrow-gauge line into the gorge. Its shape, held tightly by the foothills, makes a quiet and distinctive poster.
Choose your own title and subtitle, marking a year, a name or a journey, and set the coordinates line. The map is available in Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, as a $9 download with six print sizes or as a matte print.
