Main road spine
The regional road through Bariadi forms the town's backbone. Shops, offices and the busiest streets cluster along it before the pattern loosens into residential plots.

关于地图
Bariadi Map Poster & Print
Bariadi is the administrative centre of Simiyu Region in northern Tanzania. It stands on the wide, gently rolling country between Lake Victoria and the Serengeti. From above there is no dense old core. The map shows a town centre around the main road and market, with a looser pattern of streets, farm tracks and homesteads spreading into cultivated land in every direction.
Simiyu became a separate region in 2012, and Bariadi's role as its capital has brought new government buildings and roads. The surrounding district is farming country, known especially for cotton and livestock. On a map this landscape looks like a fine, even texture of fields and footpaths around a small but steadily filling urban centre.
A Bariadi map poster is a modest, honest portrait of an East African town that is still taking shape. The black and white print keeps the main roads, the grid of the new centre and the rural pattern around it, and it looks calm on a wall.

Emerging town grid
Newer planned streets around the administrative area form a more regular pattern, which shows the direction the town is growing in.
Farmland surroundings
Beyond the built-up area, paths and field edges cover the plain with a delicate web that gives the print a soft, natural border.
