关于地图
Tarime Map Poster & Print
Tarime is the main town of Tarime District in the Mara Region of northern Tanzania, a short distance from the border with Kenya. On a map it appears as a compact centre where the main roads meet, surrounded by a looser web of lanes and tracks that spread into farmland. The hilly ground gives many of these routes a gentle, winding line.
The town serves a wide rural area. Much of the surrounding land is farmed in small plots, which reads on a map as open space broken by footpaths and scattered homesteads. Lake Victoria lies to the west and the Serengeti plains to the south. Gold mining is also an important activity in the district.
Tarime is a modest place, so its map is less about monuments than about the pattern of a working market town and the roads to the villages around it. A Tarime map poster suits people who grew up here or have family in the Mara Region, and it leaves generous open space around the centre.

Hillside routes
Lanes and tracks follow the rolling terrain and bend around slopes rather than running straight. This gives the outer parts of the map a relaxed, natural look.
Rural surroundings
Beyond the built-up area, farmland and scattered homesteads appear as open ground crossed by thin paths. They frame the town with a wide margin of quiet space.
