Walled core
The original town was laid out as a planned walled settlement, and its compact outline, with gates on the main approaches, still stands out clearly amid later growth.

关于地图
Beāwar Map Poster & Print
Beāwar lies in central Rajasthan where the ridges of the Aravalli range rise close by, showing on a map as broken, lightly settled ground. The town sits on flatter land beside them, with a clearly defined older core and newer neighbourhoods spreading outward along the main roads. A major highway passing the town adds a long straight line to the composition.
The old town was founded in the nineteenth century as a planned, walled market settlement, and its outline remains visible from above: a compact core with gates on its main approaches and streets arranged with more regularity than in many older Rajasthani towns. Around it, residential colonies, markets and industrial areas extend in less formal patterns, filling the plain towards the hills.
Beāwar grew as a trading centre, particularly for cotton and wool, and is also known for tilpatti, a sesame sweet associated with the town. It remains an important market for the surrounding region. A Beāwar map poster shows the neat walled core against the looser growth around it, framed by the hills of one of the oldest mountain ranges in the world.

Aravalli ridges
The hills of the Aravalli range rise near the town as open, lightly settled land, a natural backdrop that frames the street network on the map.
Highway corridor
A major highway passes the town, drawing a long, confident line across the plain and linking Beāwar with Ajmer and the routes running further south.

为什么选Beāwar
一张有意义的地图
People with roots in Beāwar remember the gates, the markets and the roads out towards Ajmer. A map of the town keeps that geography in view, clear and uncluttered, whether it hangs at home or in a family business.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can be changed to any text you like, such as a family name or a year. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand; Sand suits the Rajasthani landscape especially well.
