Central crossing
The town gathers around the point where its main roads meet, and most streets branch off this junction in a loose, informal pattern.

关于地图
Bouca Map Poster & Print
Bouca is a sub-prefecture town in the Ouham-Fafa prefecture of the Central African Republic, a region named after two of its rivers. The town is small and low-rise. On a map it appears as a short network of streets around a central crossing, with tracks leading out into the surrounding savanna and woodland toward neighbouring settlements.
Because the built-up area is modest, the setting matters as much as the streets. Watercourses wind through the countryside, and the roads out of town follow the easiest ground between them. A wider frame shows how remote the place is, with long stretches of open land between Bouca and the next towns along each route.
The north of the country has been affected by years of instability, and communities like Bouca have lived through displacement and return. A Bouca map poster does not try to tell that whole story. It keeps a simple, respectful record of the town's layout for those who live there, have family there or have worked in the area.

Roads into the savanna
Unpaved routes leave town in several directions, and their long, thin lines give the print its structure once the frame widens beyond the centre.
Winding watercourses
Streams and rivers cross the surrounding land in curved lines that contrast with the straighter roads and hint at the larger river system the region is named after.

为什么选Bouca
一张有意义的地图
For people from Bouca, and for aid and health workers who spent time there, a map can hold memories that are hard to put into words. It is a calm, neutral image that suits a home, an office or a gift.
The title and subtitle can be changed, for example to add a name or the years spent in the town, and the coordinates line can stay as it is. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, and order a print or the $9 HD files.
