Main road spine
The town's commercial life lines up along its main road. On the poster this route runs straight through the centre and gives the composition a clear axis.

关于地图
Budaka Map Poster & Print
Budaka is the chief town of Budaka District in Uganda's Eastern Region, a short distance west of Mbale. This is low, largely flat country on the plains below the Mount Elgon massif. Farming shapes daily life, and the town serves as a trading and administrative centre for the surrounding villages.
From above, Budaka is modest in size. Its centre forms around a main road, with shops and offices along it and smaller lanes behind. Past the built-up area, the map opens onto farmland and low-lying wet ground, crossed by a thinning network of rural roads that lead toward neighbouring towns and trading centres.
A Budaka map poster keeps that simple arrangement in fine lines: a main road, a small grid of streets, and wide open land all around. It is a direct, unadorned picture of an eastern Ugandan town, and a meaningful one for people who come from or work in the district.

Open plains
Budaka sits on low, level ground west of Mbale. Farmland and wet areas fill the space around it, which leaves plenty of open space in the design.
Village connections
Minor roads spread out from the centre to rural communities. Their thin lines show how the town ties the district together.
