Colonial street grid
The historic centre follows a regular grid of blocks around its main square. In black and white it prints as a compact, even pattern, clearly set apart from the looser development around it.

关于地图
Cajicá Map Poster & Print
Cajicá sits on the high plateau north of Bogotá, one of several municipalities strung along the road towards Zipaquirá. From above, the old centre shows as a tight Spanish grid around a main square. Beyond it, newer housing spreads out in looser blocks, and the open fields of the savanna are never more than a short distance away.
The name is usually traced to the Muisca language and is often translated as stone fortress, a reminder that the savanna was Muisca country long before Spanish towns were laid out on it. On a map, that long history shows only in the landscape: level ground crossed by drainage channels and field boundaries, and hills rising to the east.
A Cajicá map poster captures a town at the point where planned streets give way to countryside. The centre prints as a dense, regular pattern. Towards the edges, lines thin into winding lanes, gated estates and long straight rural roads. At larger sizes you can see both the order of the colonial core and the openness of the land around it.

Savanna field lines
Around the town the Sabana de Bogotá is crossed by straight rural roads, drainage channels and property lines. They give the poster a quiet geometric edge instead of an abrupt stop.
Eastern hills
Low hills rise along one side of the municipality, and roads curve to follow their contours. That change in line quality gives the flat plateau a clear boundary on the map.

为什么选Cajicá
一张有意义的地图
People who have lived, studied or raised a family in Cajicá often want something that shows the whole town at once, from the plaza to the fields. A map does that without depending on a single photograph or a single season.
You can add your own title, a subtitle such as a family name or date, and a coordinates line. Then choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand to suit the room where the print will hang.
