Colomiers Map Poster & Print
Colomiers lies just west of Toulouse, in the Haute-Garonne department of Occitanie. It was a small village until the second half of the twentieth century, when it grew rapidly into a planned suburban town. On a map both stages are visible: a compact older core, and around it the curving streets, housing estates and green spaces of the newer districts.
The town is closely tied to the Toulouse aerospace industry, and large industrial sites and the airport zone lie on its eastern side. A Colomiers map poster captures that contrast between the residential neighbourhoods threaded with parks and the broad, open plots of industry and transport toward the city.
A railway line runs through the town toward Toulouse, and a small stream winds through green corridors between the districts. In black and white, the suburban plan becomes a pattern of loops, cul-de-sacs and open lawns, with the straighter lines of rail and main roads holding it all together.
