Hillside settlement
Houses and apartment blocks spread across the wooded hillside below the lifts, joined by looping roads. On the poster they form a loose, irregular pattern rather than a single village core.

关于地图
La Molina Map Poster & Print
La Molina lies in the eastern Pyrenees of Catalonia, on the southern edge of the Cerdanya, a wide, flat-bottomed valley that straddles the border with France. The resort is spread out rather than concentrated, with chalets, hotels and apartment blocks scattered across wooded slopes below the ski area. From above, the map shows a loose web of roads winding between buildings and forest, opening onto higher, bare ground.
It is often described as the birthplace of skiing in Spain: the country's first ski lift was installed here in the 1940s. Today La Molina is linked with neighbouring Masella in a shared ski area, and it remains within easy reach of Barcelona by road and rail. A La Molina map poster traces this long relationship with the city through the mountain routes that serve it.
The railway line to the Cerdanya climbs through the area on its way over the mountains, following bends and tunnels that give it an unusual path on the map. Combined with the curving resort roads and the ridges above, it creates a layered composition. The result feels less like a single village and more like a mountainside gradually settled over several generations of skiers.

Mountain railway
The line toward Puigcerdà and the French border passes through La Molina, bending with the terrain. It adds a distinct, steady curve that stands apart from the switchbacking roads.
Cerdanya edge
To the north, the land drops toward the broad floor of the Cerdanya valley. The contrast between the steep resort slopes and the flat plain gives the map strong depth.

为什么选La Molina
一张有意义的地图
La Molina belongs to generations of Catalan skiers, many of whom learned on these slopes as children. A map of the resort is a nostalgic piece for a Barcelona flat or a Cerdanya holiday home, and a thoughtful gift for anyone with family winters here.
Personalise the title and subtitle with names or dates and adjust the coordinates to your chalet or favourite run. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The $9 download has no watermark and comes in six sizes, from A3 to 24×36″.
