Loose lane network
The town's lanes form an irregular web around family compounds, a looser and more organic pattern than a planned street grid.

关于地图
Kyabé Map Poster & Print
Kyabé is in the Moyen-Chari province of southern Chad, in the Sudanian savanna not far from the border with the Central African Republic. The land is flat and fairly wooded. A long rainy season fills seasonal rivers and floodplains, and a dry season follows. Farming and fishing are part of local life.
From above, Kyabé is a spread-out town. Its streets are mostly unpaved lanes that separate compounds and fields, and they form a loose, uneven network. A few main roads cross it and lead out to neighbouring settlements. Beyond the town, the savanna takes over, with farmland, trees and waterways that change with the seasons.
A Kyabé map poster shows this simple structure: a small network of lanes, the roads leaving town and the open landscape around them. It is a map for people who know the town and want something real and uncluttered.

为什么选Kyabé
一张有意义的地图
Kyabé is rarely printed as a poster, so a map of it carries real personal meaning. It is often a gift for someone who comes from there or who has lived and worked in southern Chad.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line are all editable, so the print can name a person, a family or a year. Choose one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
