关于地图
Lafey Map Poster & Print
Lafey lies in Mandera County, in the far northeastern corner of Kenya, close to the borders with Somalia and Ethiopia. The surrounding land is arid and flat, crossed by seasonal watercourses and tracks. On a map, the town appears as a compact grouping of streets and compounds, surrounded by wide open ground.
Life here is closely tied to pastoralism and the movement of people and livestock across the region. That pattern shows in the map through the long, unpaved routes that leave town in several directions, linking it with other settlements across Mandera County and beyond.
A Lafey map poster is spare by nature. A small, defined centre sits within a mostly blank field, with a few confident lines reaching toward the horizon. Few places are rendered so simply, and that simplicity gives the print a calm, almost abstract quality that suits a minimalist wall.

Long tracks
Unpaved routes lead away across the plains toward neighbouring settlements, drawn as long, straight or gently bending lines.
Dry watercourses
Seasonal riverbeds cross the surrounding land, appearing as faint winding lines that hint at how water shapes this dry region.
