关于地图
Lembang Map Poster & Print
Lembang lies in the highlands of West Java, just north of Bandung, on the slopes that rise toward the Tangkuban Perahu volcano. The town and its surrounding district sit well above the city, and the map reflects the terrain: roads curve and switch back across the hillsides, and settlements follow ridges and valleys rather than forming a regular grid.
The cooler climate has long made Lembang a place for vegetable farms, flower nurseries and dairy cattle, as well as a weekend destination for people from Bandung and Jakarta. It is also home to the Bosscha Observatory, one of the oldest observatories in Indonesia, founded in the 1920s. The Lembang Fault, a well-studied geological feature, runs across the area.
A Lembang map poster is organic rather than geometric: a main road climbing north from Bandung, branching lanes that follow the contours, and small clusters of houses among farmland. In black and white, the pattern suggests the shape of the hills without a single contour line. It suits anyone who loves the highlands and the quiet above the city.

Bosscha Observatory
The historic observatory occupies a green compound on the hillside, a small open space on the map with a notable place in Indonesian science.

为什么选Lembang
一张有意义的地图
For many families in West Java, Lembang means cool air, weekend drives and mornings among the farms. A map of the town is a reminder of those trips, or of home for those who grew up on its slopes.
Set your own title and subtitle, for example a family name or the date of a special trip, and edit the coordinates. Choose one of five styles, Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, and download 300 DPI files or order a printed poster.
