Chora's lanes
The old town is a web of narrow alleys with few straight lines. On the poster it becomes the most intricate part of the map, in contrast to the empty hills inland.

关于地图
Mykonos Map Poster & Print
Mykonos is a compact island in the Cyclades, dry and rocky, with low hills and hardly any trees. Its coastline breaks into a long series of bays and headlands, and roads branch out from the main town to reach them. The south coast is a string of sheltered sandy beaches. The north faces the wind, with deeper, emptier inlets such as Panormos Bay.
The main town, Chora, sits on the west coast around the old harbour. Its whitewashed lanes twist and double back, a pattern often said to have been meant to confuse pirates, and on a map they form a dense, irregular knot. In Little Venice, houses are built right over the sea, and a row of windmills stands on the ridge above.
Just to the southwest lies Delos, a small uninhabited island that was one of the great sanctuaries of the ancient Greek world and, in myth, the birthplace of Apollo and Artemis. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, reached by boat from Mykonos. A Mykonos map poster places the town's tangled streets beside the open curves of the bays around it.

Kato Mili windmills
A row of old windmills stands on the ridge south of the harbour, above Little Venice. They mark the point where the town's maze gives way to open slope.
Southern bays
Beaches such as Psarou, Platys Gialos and Paradise sit in a line of small coves along the south coast. Each is a curved bite out of the shore, with a road reaching down to it.

为什么选Mykonos
一张有意义的地图
Mykonos is a place of summers, celebrations and nights that end at sunrise. Its map makes a keepsake for friends who travelled together or couples who married there. The outline is small and neat, and the maze of Chora gives it a detailed centre.
Personalise the title and subtitle with names and dates, and set the coordinates line to your own spot. Pick from five styles: Classic black & white echoes the whitewashed town, and Sand is warmer. The files cost $9, carry no watermark and come in six print sizes up to 24×36″.
