关于地图
Donoussa Map Poster & Print
Donoussa is the easternmost of the Small Cyclades, lying east of Naxos in the Aegean. It is a compact island of bare, rounded hills and terraced slopes, with a coastline of bays, beaches and rocky headlands. Its settlements are few and small, so the map is drawn mainly by the shape of the coast and a light network of roads and footpaths linking the villages.
The port village of Stavros sits on a sheltered bay, where the ferries arrive and most of the island's life is concentrated. From there a road and a set of old paths lead to the other villages spread across the hills and to beaches around the coast. The island is known among walkers for its waymarked trails, which cross between bays and ridges.
A Donoussa map poster suits people who have spent quiet weeks on the island, arriving by ferry and exploring on foot. Its outline is compact and irregular, with enough bays and points to give it character, and the thin threads of paths across the hills add fine detail. Surrounded by open Aegean water, the island sits centred and balanced on the page.

Footpath network
Old paths cross the island between villages, bays and hilltops, adding fine lines over the slopes where the road network is sparse.
Indented coast
Bays with beaches alternate with rocky capes around the island, giving its compact shape a varied outline that holds up well at larger sizes.

为什么选Donoussa
一张有意义的地图
Donoussa attracts people who want a slower Aegean island, and those who return tend to feel strongly about it. A poster of its compact, hilly shape is a way to keep the walks, the swims and the ferry arrivals in view all year.
Set a title and subtitle, perhaps the name of a beach or the year you first visited, and adjust the coordinates line. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, depending on whether you prefer crisp contrast or soft, sunlit tones.
