The northern road
The main route through the Fouta Djallon passes through Pita. It forms the strongest line on the map and is the axis along which the town has grown.

关于地图
Pita Map Poster & Print
Pita lies on the plateaus of the Fouta Djallon, the highland region of central Guinea where many of West Africa's major rivers begin. The town sits on the main road running north toward Labé. From above it appears as a compact centre, with lanes spreading into rolling countryside of fields, scrub and wooded valleys.
The surrounding terrain gives the map its character. Streams cut shallow valleys through the plateau, and settlements outside town are joined by winding tracks rather than straight roads. The area is known for its waterfalls, which form where rivers drop from the plateau edges, and the highland climate is noticeably cooler than that of Guinea's coast.
A Pita map poster is a quiet, understated piece. There are no dense grids here, only a town shaped by a road, a landscape and the waterways that cross it. In black and white the pattern looks like a sketch of a highland market town within its surroundings, open and loosely drawn, with plenty of space around every line.

Plateau streams
Small rivers and streams wind across the highlands around town, adding soft, irregular lines that contrast with the straighter roads and the compact centre.
Open countryside
Tracks and paths connect outlying villages and farmland, giving the edges of the poster a light, scattered texture rather than a solid urban fill.
