关于地图
Planaltina Map Poster & Print
Planaltina, in the state of Goiás, lies on the high plateau of central Brazil near the boundary of the Federal District. It is separate from the Brasília region of the same name. On a map it forms a sprawling network of residential neighbourhoods laid out on high, fairly flat ground.
The street pattern is mostly regular, made up of rectangular blocks that fill the land in successive stages of growth. Between neighbourhoods, and around the edge of the town, the cerrado shows through: open savanna with scattered trees, streams and patches of gallery forest along the watercourses.
A Planaltina map poster shows a town shaped by the growth of Brazil's capital region, where many residents commute toward the Federal District. In black and white, the repeating blocks against the open plateau make for a clean, orderly composition.

Cerrado edges
Open savanna surrounds the built-up area and runs between districts. It leaves wide empty spaces that make the street pattern stand out.
Plateau roads
Main roads cross the high plateau and connect the town with the Federal District, forming long straight lines through the design.
