关于地图
Puerto Salgar Map Poster & Print
Puerto Salgar sits on the east bank of the Magdalena River, Colombia's main waterway, in the lowlands at the western edge of Cundinamarca. Directly across the river is La Dorada, in the department of Caldas. A bridge joins the two towns, which form a small urban pair divided by the broad, braided channel.
The town grew as a river and rail port, and its streets follow a loose grid parallel to the bank. Just outside lies the Germán Olano air base, known as Palanquero, one of the main installations of the Colombian Air Force. Its long runway is an unmistakable feature on the map.
A Puerto Salgar map poster is shaped by water. The Magdalena, with its sandbars and side channels, runs through the frame as a wide dark band, and the two towns face each other across it. The runway adds a precise straight line against the loose, curving forms of the river valley.

Twin towns
Puerto Salgar and La Dorada sit on opposite banks, joined by a bridge. Seen together, they form a balanced, mirrored composition across the river.
Palanquero runway
The air base runway is a long, perfectly straight line beside the town. Its sharp geometry contrasts with the natural curves of the Magdalena.
