关于地图
Ramu Map Poster & Print
Ramu lies in Mandera County in the northeastern corner of Kenya, near the borders with Ethiopia and Somalia. On a map it is a compact settlement in a very open landscape: a few streets and buildings gathered together, with long, thin roads extending across dry land toward other towns in the county.
The terrain around it is arid and lightly vegetated, crossed by seasonal watercourses that fill only after rain. In a black and white rendering these appear as faint, meandering lines, while the town itself stands out as a small, dense mark. The emptiness around it is part of what makes the map effective.
A Ramu map poster is minimal almost by definition. It shows how a town holds together in a demanding environment, with its streets drawn close and its connections stretching out over great distances. For people with roots here, the pattern is familiar and meaningful.
