关于地图
Regeneração Map Poster & Print
Regeneração is a municipality in the centre-north of Piauí, in northeastern Brazil. From above it appears as a compact town with a fairly regular street layout, set in wide rural land. Roads radiate from the centre toward neighbouring towns, and beyond the edge of the grid the map quickly opens into sparse country.
The contrast between the tidy blocks of the town and the surrounding emptiness is what gives the poster its character. Watercourses and tracks add faint lines across the landscape, but the urban core is clearly the centre of gravity of the composition.
A Regeneração map poster is for those who carry the town with them: people who grew up there, moved to Teresina or further south, or have family ties to the Piauí interior. It records the place plainly, the way it sits on the land.

Radiating roads
A few main roads run outward toward other towns in the region, stretching across the open land like spokes.
Open interior
Around the town the map is sparse, marked only by tracks and watercourses, which gives the poster a calm and airy feel.
