Highway junction
BR-116 and BR-232 meet at Salgueiro, and their long lines crossing the region form the strongest graphic element of the map.

关于地图
Salgueiro Map Poster & Print
Salgueiro lies deep in the sertão of Pernambuco, in the semi-arid interior of northeastern Brazil. It is known as a crossroads, since the federal highways BR-116 and BR-232 meet here, and on a map those long, straight lines cut across the open land and converge on the town. The urban area forms a compact grid set against the wide, lightly settled caatinga around it.
The town's streets follow a fairly regular pattern of blocks, with a clear centre and quieter residential areas stretching outward. Beyond the edges, the map becomes sparse: a few rural roads, dry streambeds and scattered settlements. That contrast between the dense town and the empty landscape is what gives Salgueiro its particular character from above.
A Salgueiro map poster emphasises this relationship. The highways read as bold diagonals, the town grid as a tight block of fine lines, and the open sertão as white space. In black and white, the design is spare and architectural, which fits a place defined by distance, dry land and the routes that connect it to the rest of the Northeast.

Compact town grid
The urban area is laid out as a regular grid of blocks, forming a dense, clearly defined shape in the middle of the surrounding open land.
Open sertão
Around the town, the semi-arid caatinga is only lightly marked by rural roads and dry watercourses, leaving wide empty areas that frame the town.
