Uccle Map Poster & Print
Uccle is a municipality in the south of the Brussels-Capital Region, known for its residential streets and its greenery. The terrain is hilly by Brussels standards, and many of its roads curve along slopes and valleys instead of following a grid. On a map, the street pattern is loose and organic, broken up by large parks.
The Royal Observatory of Belgium and the Royal Meteorological Institute share a site in Uccle, which is why Belgian weather records are so often associated with the name. Wolvendael Park and other green spaces break up the streets, and the southeastern edge of the commune reaches toward the Sonian Forest.
