关于地图
Wādī 'Utbah Map Poster & Print
Wādī 'Utbah lies in the Murzuq District of south-western Libya, in the Fezzan region of the Sahara. Settlements here grew where water could be reached underground, and from above the built area looks like a group of small clusters rather than a single dense town. Houses, walled plots and cultivated patches sit on the pale surface of the desert.
The surrounding land is mostly open: flat or gently rising ground crossed by a few tracks and roads that link the settlement with other oases in the region. On a map, this vast emptiness is as important as the streets. It sets the small human marks in sharp relief and gives the composition an unusual sense of space.
A Wādī 'Utbah map poster is an unusual print, spare, graphic and very far from the familiar city map. It suits people who come from the Fezzan, those who have worked or travelled in southern Libya, and anyone drawn to desert landscapes. In black and white, the scattered settlement reads almost like an abstract drawing.

Desert tracks
A few roads and tracks cross the open ground and connect the settlement to its neighbours, drawing long, thin lines across the sheet.
Open Sahara
Most of the map is empty desert. That open space frames the small built areas and gives the print a quiet, almost minimalist character.

为什么选Wādī 'Utbah
一张有意义的地图
For families from the Fezzan, especially those who now live in Tripoli or abroad, a map of home keeps a connection that photographs sometimes cannot. It also appeals to people who value unusual places and spare, graphic images.
You can personalise the title, including the name in Arabic script, as well as the subtitle and the coordinates line. Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Sand is a natural fit for the Sahara.
