Thara Map Poster & Print
Thara lies in Banaskantha district in north Gujarat, on the broad, level plains that stretch towards the Rann of Kutch. From above, the town is a compact cluster of streets surrounded by fields. Roads leave the centre in several directions, linking Thara to nearby villages and towns, and the farmland around it forms a wide, open backdrop.
Thara is the headquarters of Kankrej taluka, a name widely known in India through the Kankrej breed of cattle, which is associated with this part of Gujarat. The town serves as a local centre for the surrounding villages, with markets and services gathered in its core.
A Thara map poster shows a small town set in a large, quiet landscape. The denser central streets give way quickly to a sparse network of rural roads, so the design has plenty of white space. It is a simple, honest picture of a plains town, and it works well in the warmer Sand or Paper styles.

Radiating roads
Several roads leave the town towards surrounding villages, spreading across the frame like spokes and linking Thara to the wider Kankrej countryside.
Open plains
Around the town, flat agricultural land stretches in every direction, giving the poster a calm, open border with only a few lines crossing it.
