The rebuilt grid
The centre follows an orderly pattern of square blocks and straight streets, the result of rebuilding after 1812, and reads cleanly on the poster.

San Felipe Map Poster & Print
San Felipe is the capital of Yaracuy state in north-central Venezuela, set in a valley where the lowland meets forested hills. The earthquake of 1812 destroyed the colonial town, and the city was later rebuilt on nearby ground, so the map shows a regular grid of blocks rather than the tight irregular core found in many older Venezuelan towns.
The ruins of the old town were not cleared but preserved as a park, San Felipe El Fuerte, on the edge of the modern city. Excavated foundations and church walls sit among trees, and on a map the park appears as a distinct green block at the foot of the hills, a quiet counterpart to the ordered streets beside it.
Around the centre, newer neighbourhoods and main roads extend across the valley floor toward neighbouring towns, while the surrounding slopes stay largely wooded. A San Felipe map poster presents that contrast clearly: the regular streets of the rebuilt city, the green outline of the ruins and the mountains that frame them.

San Felipe El Fuerte
The preserved ruins of the colonial town form a park on the city's edge, a green shape on the map marking where the original settlement stood before the earthquake.
Valley and slopes
The urban area spreads across the flatter valley floor while forested hills rise close by, giving the composition a firm natural edge on its higher side.

For people from Yaracuy, and for the many Venezuelans now living abroad, a map of San Felipe is a direct link to home. The grid, the park and the hills are recognisable at a glance, and the poster suits a living room as much as a study.
Personalise the title and subtitle, perhaps with a family name or the year you left, and edit the coordinates line. Five styles are offered: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Prints ship from partners in more than 30 countries, so the poster can reach wherever you live now.
