Volga waterfront
The river, widened into a reservoir, forms the town's southern edge. It takes up a large share of the map and gives the composition a strong horizontal line.

Zelenodolsk Map Poster & Print
Zelenodolsk lies on the northern bank of the Volga in Tatarstan, upstream of Kazan. The Kuybyshev Reservoir widened the river here, so the town looks out over broad water. That pale expanse dominates the map, broken up by islands and inlets and by the mouth of the Sviyaga on the opposite shore.
The town has always been tied to the river. Its shipyard, named after Gorky, has built vessels for the navy and the river fleet, and the industrial waterfront shows up as a zone of long, straight quays and docks. Behind it, residential districts rise away from the water in a mix of older streets and Soviet-era housing blocks.
Across the water is the island town of Sviyazhsk, founded in the sixteenth century and known for its monasteries. A Zelenodolsk map poster that includes the river captures the relationship between the two: the working town on one side, the small historic island on the other, and the wide Volga between them.

Shipyard quays
Long, straight docks and slipways along the shore mark the industrial heart of Zelenodolsk. They form a precise geometric strip against the softer curve of the riverbank.
Sviyazhsk island
Opposite the town, the small island of Sviyazhsk rises from the water near the mouth of the Sviyaga. Its compact shape makes a natural counterpoint in a wider frame.

কেন Zelenodolsk
এমন একটি ম্যাপ, যার একটা মানে আছে
For shipbuilders, their families and anyone who grew up by the Volga here, the map records a life organised around the river: the walk to the yard, the crossing, the view across the water to the island.
Personalise the poster with a title, subtitle and coordinates line. Choose Classic black & white for crisp contrast or Blueprint to echo the shipyard's drawings. Noir, Paper and Sand are also available, as $9 HD files or as printed posters.
