Gardoš hill
Short, winding lanes climb the hill above the Danube, with the Millennium Tower at the top. This is the most organic, tightly packed part of the map.

Zemun Map Poster & Print
Zemun lies on the right bank of the Danube, just upstream of where the Sava joins it. For centuries it was a separate town on the Habsburg side of the border, facing Ottoman Belgrade across the rivers. On a map that past is still easy to read. Zemun's old streets are narrow and irregular, and they climb a hill. To the south, New Belgrade is laid out as a large, rigid grid.
Gardoš hill rises above the old town. Its Millennium Tower, built in 1896, is Zemun's best-known landmark. Below it, the riverside quay runs along the Danube, lined with restaurants and moored boats. Across the water, the Great War Island is an undeveloped green space at the mouth of the Sava.
A Zemun map poster shows a real contrast of urban form. On one side is an organic river town, and on the other a socialist-era grid. The Danube curves along the northern edge. The hill, the quay and the island all make distinct shapes, even in a monochrome print.

Danube quay
A long riverside promenade follows the water's edge. It separates the old town from the river, and the curve of the bank makes a strong line on the page.
Great War Island
An undeveloped island at the Sava's mouth, shown as open space on the map. It sits between Zemun and the fortress of Belgrade across the river.

কেন Zemun
এমন একটি ম্যাপ, যার একটা মানে আছে
Many people in Belgrade describe themselves first as being from Zemun, and a map of the old town honours that. Add your street or a year to the subtitle, write the title in Serbian or English, and adjust the coordinates line to your hill or quay.
The Danube and the organic lanes are elegant in Paper and dramatic in Noir. Blueprint emphasises the neighbouring grid. The $9 download includes six print sizes, and printed posters are made by partners in more than 30 countries.
