Bahçelievler Map Poster & Print
Bahçelievler lies on the European side of Istanbul, west of the historic peninsula and inland from the Sea of Marmara. It is almost entirely built up, and on a map it appears as an unbroken field of small blocks and short streets. The D-100 highway, known locally as E-5, runs through it from east to west, a broad line dividing the district into northern and southern halves.
The name translates roughly as garden houses, a trace of its beginnings as a planned residential area of low-rise homes. Since then the district has grown far denser, with apartment buildings replacing much of the original housing. The street pattern remains mostly regular, with long parallel avenues and a fine grid of side streets filling the space between them.
Metro and rail lines cross the district, and metrobus stops line the highway. A Bahçelievler map poster captures this dense, orderly neighbourhood, where the main routes stand out clearly against the even texture of the residential blocks. It shows Istanbul from an angle rarely seen, away from the Bosphorus and the domes.

Regular residential grid
Long parallel avenues and short cross streets create a consistent, finely divided pattern of blocks, reflecting the district's origins as a planned residential area.
Dense urban texture
With little open land left, the map fills almost edge to edge with streets, broken only by small parks, schools and transport lines.
