El mapa
Asbury Park Map Poster & Print
Asbury Park sits on the Atlantic coast of New Jersey, and its map is one of the neatest on the Jersey Shore. The town was laid out in the 1870s by James A. Bradley on a regular grid running back from the ocean, and the blocks are bounded by lakes: Deal Lake to the north, Wesley Lake to the south, with Sunset Lake in between.
The boardwalk follows the beach, anchored by the Convention Hall and Paramount Theatre complex at its northern end. Asbury Park is also known for its music, especially the Stone Pony club and Bruce Springsteen's first album, Greetings from Asbury Park, which made the town's name familiar far beyond New Jersey.
An Asbury Park map poster brings out the clarity of the plan. Straight streets run east to the ocean, the lakes add organic shapes on the edges, and the shoreline forms a firm boundary. The result is a composition that feels ordered and relaxed at the same time.

Deal and Wesley Lakes
Two narrow lakes stretch inland from the coast, marking the town's northern and southern limits with long, winding shapes.
Victorian street grid
Streets laid out in the nineteenth century form a regular pattern of blocks leading down to the beach, easy to trace on the poster.
