Delta fields
Small irrigated plots divide the western part of the map into a fine mosaic. They are bounded by canals and narrow field tracks.

关于地图
Al Qurayn Map Poster & Print
Al Qurayn is in Sharqia governorate, toward the eastern edge of the Nile Delta, between Zagazig and Ismailia. From above this is a transition zone. Irrigated farmland in fine parcels runs up to the town on one side, and on the other the land turns sandier and more open toward the desert east of the Delta.
Canals carry Nile water into this area, and the fields follow their lines closely. Roads and a railway pass through the region on their way toward the Suez Canal cities. The town has grown along them, with a compact core and newer blocks extending outward.
An Al Qurayn map poster shows the edge of the Delta clearly. Dense farmland and streets fill one part of the frame, and more open, lightly patterned ground fills the other. It is a simple composition, and it reflects how settlement in Egypt follows water.

Desert edge
To the east, the pattern of fields thins out and the land opens up. On the poster this becomes calm, sparse space.
Canals and roads
Waterways and roads run through the area toward the Suez Canal cities. They give the town its main lines of growth.
