关于地图
Changyŏn Map Poster & Print
Changyŏn is a county town in South Hwanghae Province, in the southwest of North Korea. The province is one of the country's main farming regions, and the landscape around the town is largely flat to gently hilly, with rice fields and irrigation channels. From above, the town is a compact cluster of streets surrounded by an ordered pattern of fields.
Detailed and reliable information about towns in North Korea is limited, and published maps vary in their coverage. What can be seen clearly is the overall form: a small urban centre, roads leading outward to neighbouring counties and the coast, and a countryside shaped by agriculture.
The Changyŏn map poster focuses on that form. A small, dense core of streets sits in the middle of the frame, with main roads extending outward across wide open areas. The simplicity is part of its appeal. It is a restrained drawing of a place most people will only ever know from a map.

为什么选 Changyŏn
一张有意义的地图
For Koreans with family ties to Hwanghae, a map of Changyŏn can carry deep personal meaning, as a link to a place that is hard to visit. For others, its spare form makes a quiet, thought-provoking piece of wall art.
You can edit the title, subtitle and coordinates line, and add a date. Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Classic black & white keeps the drawing clean and restrained.
