Highway spine
A main road runs through the town and connects it with the rest of the region. It is the boldest line on the poster, with the centre growing along it.

关于地图
Karera Map Poster & Print
Karera is in Shivpuri district in northern Madhya Pradesh, on the plateau country between Gwalior and Jhansi. The land here is mostly open, with farmland and dry grassland, low rocky ridges and scattered water tanks.
The area is known for the Karera Wildlife Sanctuary, which was established to protect the Great Indian Bustard, a large grassland bird now critically endangered. On the map, the town has a compact centre, with a highway running through it and village roads branching out into the country.
A Karera map poster shows how small the town is in its landscape: a dense cluster of streets, a strong highway line and a great deal of open land. The emptiness around it is as much a part of the image as the town itself.

Compact centre
The town's streets form a small, dense core. The rest of the map is mostly open land, so the core stands out clearly.
Open grassland
Farmland and grassland surround Karera on all sides. This is the kind of landscape the bustard sanctuary was created to protect.

为什么选 Karera
一张有意义的地图
Karera is not a famous name, which is why a map of it means so much to those who know it. A home town, a posting or a birdwatching trip can all be remembered in one clean black-and-white print.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can be personalised. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Download the $9 HD files to print at home, or order a matte poster, framed or unframed.
